West Village, NYC- Bagels on the Square

A good way to start your day in NYC is a bagel and lox. Stella got hers on a signature, “Black Russian” bagel which is in many ways akin to the pumpernickel. I got a classic Italian Hero, a sub as I’d call it. All the ingredients were fresh, the lox was savory and the meats on my hero were above lunch meat typical quality. (Going to the fridge now for leftovers) The coffee was strong and full-flavored, too. Great place to start.
